It is not uncommon on contest weekends for the system to pump out upwards of 700 or more spots per hour. This system is available to all Amateurs on a 24/7 basis. While all attempts are made to run the system effectively, sometimes computer problems arise, although few and far between. Please feel free to navigate your way around the system. If you have any special concerns or requests, please do not hesitate to ask. Thanks very much for joining our Première DX Cluster located exclusively in Orange County NY. We are here to serve the DX community, striving for perfection but settling for excellence.
While this system is a completely open system to the amateur radio community, it still costs money to operate. I would very much appreciate a donation, however small, to help offset the expenditure. You are not forced to make a donation nor do I expect it. But I do appreciate it. Donations are accepted via PayPal for your convenience. Please consider it. Thanks in advance and enjoy the system.

My other Amateur Radio Endeavor is Radio Direction Finding. You can find a host of information if you are beginner or an expert including projects to build. The Hudson Valley Direction Finding Association , established in 1995, has been a great jump off point for getting involved in radio direction finding.
Civil Air Patrol is great organization to join, if you like radio direction finding. This will give you a chance to utilize your skills in direction finding in real situations. Usually to locate downed aircraft, boats and lost hikers to name a few, by tracking their Emergency Position Indicating Radiobeacon (EPIRB) I also am a member of CAP and hold the Communications Officer position for the Catskill Mountain Group. Consider joining.
Thinking of putting up a dipole and can't get a support line over the tree? Enlist the services of N2KI. For a fee, I will get your support lines up and over the tree so you can get your antenna the highest it could be. If interested, please send an email inquiry. This service is limited to the local tri-state area.
