NEW!
Effective 26 November 2009, registration will be required to use the system otherwise you will have read-only access. We have taken this position due to much bad spotter information being passed abroad from other nodes. This position will reduce any malevolent data on your screen and save room for the real important stuff like DX spots. I have registered most of the regular users of the system, but I am sure I missed a few. If you regularly or occasionally post spots, please register with N2KI so you will be able to utilize the full functionality of the system. Please indicate the call sign that is to be registered. If you feel you have been subject to your call sign being pirated, you may set a password for yourself once you log in for additional security.

TELNET - connect via a valid telnet program, such as DXTelnet, to dxc.n2ki.com on port 7300. LOGIN with your call sign.
The
N2KI DX Mega-Cluster
has 2 backup sites that will allow spots to continue if our primary feed is down. It is not uncommon, on contest weekends, for the system to pump out
upwards
of 700 or more spots per hour. This system is available to all Amateurs on
a 24/7 basis. While all attempts are made to run the system effectively,
sometimes computer
problems arise, although few and far between. Please feel free to navigate
your way around the system. If you have any special concerns or requests,
please do not hesitate to ask. Thanks very much for joining our Première
DX Cluster located exclusively in Orange County NY.
We are here to serve the DX community, striving for
perfection but settling for excellence.
While this system is a completely open system to the amateur radio community, it still costs money to operate. I would very much appreciate a donation, however small, to help offset the expenditure. You are not forced to make a donation nor do I expect it. But I do appreciate it. Donations are accepted via PayPal for your convenience. Please consider it. Thanks in advance and enjoy the system.

You may connect to the DX Cluster via Telnet to dxc.n2ki.com 7300. Some browsers, such as IE7, do not support telnet. Use the Web Applet instead.
My other Amateur Radio Endeavor is Radio Direction Finding. You can find a host of information if you are beginner or an expert including projects to build. The Hudson Valley Direction Finding Association , established in 1995, has been a great jump off point for getting involved in radio direction finding.
